About LUMERA

+ What is LUMERA?

LUMERA is a Singapore wellness brand that makes two daily supplement formulas.
UrbanGuard supports digestion, inflammation balance, and recovery from daily strain. Prime supports cellular renewal, antioxidant defence, and steady
vitality. Together, they form the LUMERA Ritual System.

+ Are LUMERA products supplements or medicine?

LUMERA products are dietary supplements. They are not intended to diagnose, treat,
cure, or prevent any disease. They are designed to support the body's natural
functions through consistent daily use.

+ Who are LUMERA products designed for?

Adults
seeking long-term daily support, particularly professionals managing demanding
routines who want sustained clarity, digestive balance, and consistent energy
without stimulants. LUMERA is built for daily use over months and years, not
short-term intensity.

+ Where are LUMERA products made?

All
LUMERA products are manufactured in Singapore in a GMP-certified facility.
Every batch is third-party tested for identity, potency, and purity.
Certificate of Analysis available on request.

Choosing the right product

+ What is the difference between UrbanGuard and Prime?

UrbanGuard
addresses daily load — what you eat, how you work, how you sleep, how you
recover. It supports digestion, inflammation balance, and the body's processing
of meals, alcohol, and stress. Prime addresses cellular renewal — the
underlying machinery that slows with age. It supports NAD+ pathways,
antioxidant defence, and steady vitality. Different targets. Different timing.
Zero overlap.

+ Which product should I start with?

If you are unsure, start with UrbanGuard. It
is the foundation of the system and the most natural entry point. Most buyers
add Prime within 4 to 8 weeks once their baseline feels steady. If your
digestion already feels stable and you are primarily seeking long-term cellular
support, Prime can be a starting point too.

+ Can I take UrbanGuard and Prime together?

Yes, and this is the recommended use. Prime in the morning on an empty stomach.
UrbanGuard after a meal later in the day. They are designed to work together as
the Ritual System.

+ What is the Ritual Set?

The Ritual Set is UrbanGuard and Prime
purchased together at S$190 with free delivery included. UrbanGuard at S$75 +
Prime at S$125 individually totals S$200, so the Ritual Set saves S$10 plus
delivery. It is the complete LUMERA system.

+ Is the Ritual Set available on subscription?

Not yet. We are evaluating subscription for later in 2026 once we have a clearer
picture of how customers prefer to buy. For now, the Ritual Set is available as a one-time purchase.

How to take LUMERA products

+ How should I take UrbanGuard?

2 capsules once daily after a meal with 300ml of water. Morning with breakfast is ideal. Avoid taking on an empty stomach.

+ How should I take Prime?

2 capsules once daily in the morning, preferably on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes
before breakfast. Empty-stomach dosing matters for Prime: NMN absorbs better
before food, and 5-HTP competes with dietary amino acids for uptake.

+ I have a sensitive stomach. Can I still take LUMERA?

Yes, with adjustment.

For UrbanGuard:
begin with 1 capsule daily for the first 5 to 7 days, then move to the full 2-capsule dose. Always take after a meal with water.

For Prime:

if empty-stomach dosing causes nausea or lightheadedness in the first week, take
Prime with a small piece of fruit or a few nuts (not a full meal) while your
system adjusts. Absorption is slightly reduced but the formula still works.

+ Why does UrbanGuard recommend starting with a lower dose?

UrbanGuard is a concentrated formula with 11 standardised active extracts at meaningful doses. Some individuals with sensitive digestion may benefit from a short adjustment period. Starting with 1 capsule for the first
week allows the body to acclimatise. This reflects the formula's density, not a
side-effect concern.

+ Can I take LUMERA with coffee or tea?

Yes. Neither UrbanGuard nor Prime contains caffeine. Coffee and tea do not interact
meaningfully with either formula. That said, Prime is taken on an empty stomach
in the morning, so we suggest taking Prime first, then having coffee 30 minutes
later.

+ What if I miss a day?

Skip the missed dose
and resume normal dosing the next day. Do not double up. LUMERA is designed for
cumulative effect over weeks, not acute response. The occasional missed day
will not affect long-term results.

+ The capsules look large. Are they hard to swallow?

UrbanGuard uses a size #00 capsule, Prime uses a size #0 capsule. Both are
standard sizes for supplements of their density. If you find them difficult to
swallow, take one at a time with a full 300ml of water.

Safety and medication interactions

+ I take antidepressants. Can I take LUMERA?

Prime contains 100mg of 5-HTP, which raises serotonin levels. Combined with
SSRIs (like sertraline, escitalopram, fluoxetine), SNRIs (like venlafaxine,
duloxetine), MAOIs, tricyclic antidepressants, or lithium, 5-HTP can cause
serotonin syndrome, a serious medical condition.

Do not take Prime if you are on any of these medications.

UrbanGuard does not
contain serotonergic ingredients and is generally safe with antidepressants,
but consult your doctor before starting any supplement if you are on
prescription medication.

+ I take migraine medication. Can I take LUMERA?

If you take triptans (sumatriptan, eletriptan, rizatriptan), tramadol, or
dextromethorphan, consult your doctor before taking Prime. These medications
also affect serotonin and can interact with 5-HTP. UrbanGuard does not present
this concern.

+ I am on blood thinners or blood pressure medication. Can I take LUMERA?

UrbanGuard contains Milk Thistle, which can interact with some blood thinners (warfarin), statins, and certain blood pressure medications. Consult your doctor before starting UrbanGuard if you are on any prescription medication.

+ I am having surgery soon. Should I stop LUMERA?

Yes. Stop both UrbanGuard and Prime at least 2 weeks before any scheduled
surgery. Some anaesthetic medications can interact with 5-HTP, and Milk Thistle
can affect blood clotting.

+ Can I take LUMERA while pregnant or breastfeeding?

No. LUMERA products are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
There is insufficient research on the safety of several active ingredients
(including 5-HTP, NMN, and certain botanicals) for this group.

+ Can children or teenagers take LUMERA?

No. LUMERA is formulated for adults 18 years and older. Several active ingredients
have not been studied for safety in children or adolescents.

+ Are there any side effects?

LUMERA products
are formulated for daily use within recommended serving guidelines. Some
individuals with sensitive digestion may experience mild discomfort when
starting UrbanGuard — beginning with 1 capsule daily for the first week
typically resolves this. Some Prime users report mild nausea or lightheadedness
when taking on an empty stomach in the first week — taking with a small piece
of fruit usually resolves this.

If discomfort
persists, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. Pregnant or
nursing women, anyone taking medication, or anyone managing a medical condition
should consult their doctor before use.

Results and consistency

+ When will I notice changes?

LUMERA is designed for gradual, cumulative support, not acute response.

For UrbanGuard: most
users report steadier daily energy and easier digestion within 3 to 4 weeks of
consistent use.

For Prime: most
users report sharper mornings and cleaner focus within 4 to 6 weeks. Cellular
benefits compound over months.

Individual
experiences vary. Consistency matters more than intensity.

+ How long do I need to take LUMERA before seeing

results? Both products are daily formulas designed for long-term use.
Visible benefits accumulate from week 3 onwards for UrbanGuard, week 4 to 6 for
Prime. The compounding effects of cellular support continue to build over
months.

+ Is it safe for long-term daily use?

Yes. Every ingredient is dosed within ranges supported for ongoing daily use. LUMERA
products are designed as long-term daily rituals, not short courses. There is
no need to cycle off.

Manufacturing and quality

+ What does "third-party tested" mean?

Key active ingredients in UrbanGuard are independently verified by Eurofins Food Testing Singapore. Potency testing confirms Glutathione and Curcuminoids are present at the declared levels in every tested batch.

Manufacturing quality testing for all LUMERA products covers heavy metals (arsenic, lead, mercury, cadmium), microbial purity (E. coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus), disintegration, and physical form. This is conducted at the GMP-certified manufacturing facility before every batch ships.

Disintegration testing confirms UrbanGuard capsules dissolve within 13 minutes and Prime capsules within 11 minutes, both well within the 30-minute standard.

Each batch carries a unique batch number printed on the bottle.

+ What does "standardised extract" mean?

A standardised extract guarantees a specific percentage of the ingredient's
active compound. For example, our Hovenia dulcis extract is standardised to 98%
Dihydromyricetin, meaning 98% of the extract is the active compound studied in
the research. Unstandardised extracts can vary widely in active content.
Standardisation ensures every capsule delivers the same dose of the compound
that actually does the work.

+ Are the capsules vegetarian?

Yes. All LUMERA
capsules are vegetarian. No gelatin, no animal-derived ingredients.

+ What are the other ingredients in the capsule?

LUMERA capsules contain Magnesium Stearate and Silicon Dioxide as manufacturing
excipients. These are standard, widely used flow agents that help ensure
consistent capsule filling and prevent ingredient clumping.

+ Are LUMERA products halal?

LUMERA products do
not contain animal-derived ingredients or alcohol-based excipients. However, we
are not currently formally halal-certified. Buyers with strict halal
requirements should take this into account.

+ How should I store LUMERA products?

Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C. Protect from light and moisture. Keep bottles
tightly closed. Do not refrigerate.

+ How long do LUMERA products last?

Each bottle has a printed expiry date (approximately 24 to 36 months from manufacture, depending on batch). One bottle of either product lasts 30 days at the
recommended dose.

LUMERA currently ships within Singapore only. Orders of S$190 and above qualify for
